ABOUT

Mark Clark was born in London and raised in New York, Belgrade, Khartoum and the UK. He now lives in Buckinghamshire, where he works as a script editor, story analyst and screenwriter. He's worked for Screen Yorkshire as a Development Consultant on the FLEX 2 programme, helping creative teams develop film and TV projects, and for four years ran and executive produced the prestigious John Brabourne Awards talent development programme for emerging behind the camera talent. Bringing this experience to focus on his own love of storytelling, Mark specialises in sci-fi, thriller and horror, with influences ranging from John Carpenter's The Thing to David Lynch's Mulholland Drive and Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley. His current feature projects are a psychological horror script THE NIGHT SEA, a psychological thriller called MARMONT, a sci-fi thriller called RIVER MAN and a Hollywood set thriller called HAGEN.

He once spent some quality time being bombarded by sand and a giant wind machine on the Jordanian desert floor wearing an astronaut suit in The Last Days On Mars. But that's another story.
